Komera – Be Strong!:
Our second annual fashion show and dinner to benefit our Teens Connecting Continents project in Rwanda will be held on Saturday, July 18. It was awesome!
The event will feature styles and cutting-edge clothing donated by stores in the Upper Valley area of Vermont and New Hampshire. The models are stellar – from babies to octogenarians! Chef Michelle Harris offers a dinner that will meld African flavor with local Vermont produce and products.
Our goal this year is to:
· • Ensure growth and administration of the recreation program featuring soccer
· • Grow the support for quality youth education
· • Rebuild the soccer stadium, and create basketball and volleyball courts. The hope is that this new facility will become a youth center and an empowerment facility for health.
· Promote health care and education for youth
