Host an Event

Get together, raise money and have fun! Here are some successful Change the World Kids’ events plus events that other groups have found successful. Ours benefited individuals and organizations in our community or raised funds for one of our international projects.  Bake sales in various places in our community and at rest stops on a major highway, community dinners, dances, concerts, theater productions, parties by invitation, rummage sales, car washes, workshops, sponsored athletic events, collections of recyclable bottles, karaoke nights, game nights, poetry slams, concession booth at community events, contests, toy sailboat races, movie nights, face painting and children’s fun days, ice cream socials, guided night walks, art shows, and chili cook offs.

Start a Chapter

Join the growing network of Change the World Kids. If you are a teen, get friends together and begin making change (See our Chapters section). If you are not a teen, spread the word about our group to teens that you know. Encourage them to visit our website.

Live Sustainably

Conserve power. Consider what you use and purchase, then reduce, reuse, recycle. Reduce your Carbon Footprint when traveling. Offset your carbon emissions through our program Carbon Footprints. Each donation of $5.00 will grow a tree seedling in our nursery in Bosque para Siempre, plant and maintain it for three years.

Help your Neighbor

Someone in your community can use your help! The reasons are endless, and the need is there. Spend an hour or two of your time volunteering to do a job. How do you discover how you can be of assistance? Some ideas are: put a notice in your local paper; contact local social service agencies, churches, doctors, or schools; or talk to people at senior centers. And if a friend or two joins you, it’s even more fun and productive!
